This year I'm back as Director of Content at PHP Conference Brazil. Featuring a lot of new stuff - including my commitment to develop the event's website - this year's edition promises to repeat (and with some luck to surpass) the sucess obtained last year, where more than 700 participants were able to watch some of the best PHP presentations available both in the national and international scenarios.

For those who don't know, PHPConf, as it's called by developers, was the first specific PHP event with national coverage. With a fast growth the event established itself as the main PHP event in Latin America. It has as it's main concerns to be accessible - with extremely reasonable subscription prices and giving away courtesy passes to the community - and content excellency - always bringing the best domestic and off-shore speakers.

The site is being developed on top of Zend Framework and it has a concern to be compliant with Web Standards, giving the event a site that matches it's importance. The current version - dubbed "teaser" - shows a little bit of what happened in the event's last edition, through some images and words from the participants.
